The Contract Action Team Holds First Meeting

On January 21 2017, members packed our Union Hall to talk about what we want to see in our next contract. The ideas we shared will be reviewed by our Bargaining Team to help them prioritize and prepare the contract proposals we’ll present to the District. So many of us came together to talk about worksite issues that our parking lot was overflowing and we didn’t have enough chairs for everyone. That’s a great start, but if we’re going to win a strong contract, we need to be even more jam-packed and ready for action.  That’s what the Contract Action Team is all about. Join us!

“I decided to join our CAT team because I’m a millennial. I’m going to be working at this job for at least 20 more years! I want to do everything I can to make sure my job is a good job. How can I complain if I’m not willing to do my part?” said LAUSD Bus Driver Tarasha Patterson on why she joined the team.
